Day 39

Today I am thankful for the faith of a little child. I am blessed that Donovan is reaching the age where he is expanding his faith and knowledge in Jesus. I may not have always walked the straight and narrow, but I am hoping to be an example to my children and I love that Donovan is growing in his excitement of learning about God and the Bible. Even though it was a scary situation, Donovan and I prayed for my Uncle Ted last night after learning that he was in the hospital. Then Donovan insisted we pray for him too - and then his brother and sister (they've all been dealing with colds this past week). I prayed that God reach down and touch him and make him feel better. Today when he woke up he informed me that Jesus touched his hand and now he was all better. Later this afternoon I got to tell Donovan that the uncle we prayed for last night was better and would be able to go home from the hospital. He was so excited and I am so happy he got to feel the joy of having an answered prayer. I hope that I can continue to watch him grow in his relationship with God and that he grows up knowing that if we continue to have the faith of a child, nothing is impossible through Him.
